Stay at the top of read tweets
When I have my DT window minimized, a lot of new tweets arrive and then I open it, I tend to get lost in tweets and have to search for the read and unread ones. In the android twitter client I use (twicca), there's a great option to avoid the confusion – stay at the top of read tweets.
How it works:
When some new tweets arrive, the list of previously received tweets
shown in DT's window doesn't change, the new tweets are
“hidden” above them. The only thing that changes on the
screen when new tweets arrive is the position of the scrollbar. And
when you want to read the new messages, all you need to do is
scroll upwards and go through the new tweets with no hassle.
I'm not sure how complicated it would be to implement a feature like that, but it would sure make reading new tweets much easier.

Something like that would be very difficult to implement with
DestroyTwitter. What you can do to navigate through unread tweets is press
the arrow-up and arrow-down keys while holding alt. It'll skip to the next
unread tweet in that direction.

Too bad, thanks for the tip though.
