Links open (or don't open) in TextMate

I haven't seen any other mentions of this, so I'm going to chalk this one up to User Error, however, can you think of any reason why links from dt(w) are being attempted to be opened in TextMate and not a browser?

    It is related to having TextMate being set to open HTML files automatically. I presume URLs in dt(w) are being passed on with the .html extension and getting caught by the system.

    Unfortunately, AIR uses the default .html app to open links. Makes no sense
    to me.
