I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and clicking on the X closes the application down and not minimizes it to the sys tray like it did in v1.7

    It's not a bug, it's a feature! :)

X is supposed to exit the running application, I guess future options will enable us to set the behavior of minimize and exit buttons, but I see no problem with the current settings, they make sense.

For minimizing to tray you can use the minimize button, which is something that bugs me, but that's just the way things work right now.

I am experiencing the same issue. It seems like the option to do it has been removed from the Preferences menu. Hopefully we can get it back. Talking to Jonnie about it now.

You know. 99.9% of the Windows programs out there exit completely when hitting the "X" Close button and is the expected default behavior most folks are used to.

However, I'm all up for options to change the behavior. Right now, the "-" minimize button will reduce it to the tray and clicking the Icon in the Taskbar will minimize it such that it stays in the taskbar.

I filed a ticket to make this a preference.
